Our Story

Eifel Rambo Advisory Group Ltd was established in 2024 by a group of seasoned finance professionals who saw a gap: small to mid-sized businesses, credit unions, and nonprofit organizations often got taxed, audited or “served,” but rarely felt truly understood. We set out to change that
From day one, our goal has been simple: to offer services typically reserved for companies with large audit and tax teams, but to deliver them with heart, approachability, and integrity.

Mike Eifel, CPA

Partner

Mike Eifel is a highly accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in public accounting. Specializing in complex corporate tax matters and detailed technical reviews of financial statements, he has a diverse industry background including non-profit organizations and for-profit construction companies. Mike possesses a proven track record of delivering strategic financial guidance and fostering long-term client relationships

In addition to his expertise in public accounting, Mike has carved out a niche as an outsourced fractional CFO, providing tailored solutions such as financial forecasting, ratio analysis, risk management, and enhancing financial operational efficiency for his clients.

Mike graduated summa cum laude from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in management, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the State of Illinois and maintains memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

David Rambo, CPA

With over 20 years of distinguished experience in public accounting and a background as Chief Financial Officer in the private sector, Mr. Rambo brings comprehensive expertise to managing and reviewing audited financial statements across diverse industries. During his over 10 year tenure as a partner in public accounting, he specializes in serving a wide range of clients including non-profit organizations, for-profits, credit unions, and 401k plans, offering expertise from bookkeeping to audits and tax returns.

Mr. Rambo holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. He maintains active memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society.
